IMPERIAL CITIES TOUR 9 DAYS

DAY 1. CASABLANCA AIRPORT – CASABLANCA

Arrival, meet your tour director and transfer from de Casablanca Airport to the hotel check. This afternoon you will explorer this nice city with your tour director. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.

DAY 2. CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH

After breakfast visit this city, founded by the Phoenicians and occupied by Portugal for centuries. Since 1956 Casablanca it is part of the French protectorate. Casablanca is home to the Hassan II Mosque, designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau. It is located on a promontory on the Atlantic. It is the only mosque in Morocco where the entry of non Muslims are allowed. Lunch on your own. After we will continue our journey to Marrakech. Check-in, Dinner and accommodation at hotel.

DAY 3. MARRAKECH

After breakfast we will start our day with a guided tour of Marrakech. First a panoramic tour of the new town: Marrakech Gueliz and the Nouvelle Ville. We’ll visit the Menara Gardens, the Koutubía mosque exteriors, built by the almohad dynasty, and the Saadian tombs (entrance included), the mausoleum comprises the interments of about sixty members of the Saadi Dynasty. After lunch by the customer, we visit The Medina (old fortified city Packed with vendors and their stalls), the walls are made of a distinct Orange red clay and chalk, giving the city its nickname as the «red city»; we also can visit an Argon Oil cooperative (entrance included), to see a live manufacturing process. Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 4. MARRAKECH – OURIKA VALLEY – OUAR- ZAZATE

Early in the morning and after breakfast we will starts our journey direction to Ourika, where we can enjoy a lush green landscape, we can spot from here the snowcapped Atlas peaks. In the afternoon we continue to Ouarzazate. Our tour guide will take us to the Cinema Studios (entrance included). Then transfer to the hotel in Ouarzazate and check in. We can enjoy some free time. Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Ouarzazate.

DAY 5. TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD

Breakfast in the Hotel and then we will do an excursion to Erfoud. First Stop is Tinghir, the center of one of the most attractive oasis in southern Morocco. Lush palm trees cover about 30 miles (48 km). Tinghir takes part of southern Morocco oasis, included on the World Heritage List of the UNESCO, with plenty of mineral and geological sites, palm groves, khetaras, and its moussem. The inhabitants are descendants of several Berber tribes who settled in the area rich in water. We continue our journey to Todhra Gorges where we enjoy the rest of the evening. continue to the hotel in Erfourd, an-oasis town in the Sahara Desert. Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Erfoud.

DAY 6. ERFOUD – ERRACHIDIA

Breakfast at the Hotel. Today we will do a walking tour of Erfoud, whose narrow streets that intersect and allow us to easily visit the most emblematic places of the city are perfect for a walk enjoying the outdoors and landscapes. After a lunch by the customer we continue to Errachidia, to visit the ksar es Souk old town, inhabited by the tribe of the Ait Yafelmane, which formed the basis of the French Foreign Legión during the protectorate until 1956. It was built in the early s.XX, military-style, with straight streets and well urbanized. Return to Erfoud, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 7. IFRANE – FEZ

After breakfast and check out we’ll drive towards Fez. Our first stop will be Ifrane, is a town and ski resort in the Middle Atlas. Clean and tidy, with alpine style parks, lakes and houses that’s why is called «The little Swiss», is a town and ski resort in the Middle Atlas. Lunch by the customer and in the afternoon we continue to the hotel in Fez. You can enjoy here some free time. Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Fez.

DAY 8. FEZ – CHAOUEN – TETOUAN

After breakfast our local guide will tour us through Fez, The Spiritual Capital city of Morocco. Inside the Medina (market) we can visit a Madrasa or koranic school (entrance included) with an impressive architecture. It’s one of the only building allowed the access to the public. This is a good opportunity to know the insides of those amazing buildings that normally are closed to the public. The Medina (market) has not changed for centuries. There are narrow alleys, hundreds of merchants and craftsmen selling a range of products such as dates, fish, spices, copper urns, carpets and musical instruments. You can’t miss the Tanners’ Quarter (Chouaras Tanneries), an area which had hardly changed since medieval times. Semiclad boy workers tread the skins in earthen vats filled with chemicals or dyes, and stack the reeking hides on to donkeys for delivery to the leather-workers’ shops. Lunch by the customer and in the afternoon we continue to Chaouen, typical mountain village on the Rif’s North. Our local guide will take us to the main interesting points such as Utta el Hamman square, the castle, the andalusí quarter, and in particular the picturesque medina landmark with all the houses painted in blue. At the end of the visit we continue to Tetouan. Check-in, Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Tetouan.

DAY 9. TETOUAN – TANGIER AIRPORT

Breakfast at the Hotel and then we start our route in Tetouan where our local guide will delight us with a panoramic tour to Moulay El Medhi Square, here we find the only Catholic church built in colonial times. From here we walk through a large avenue to Hassan II square where we find Mohamed V Royal Palace. After lunch by the customer, depending on the flight schedule, we continue to Tangier, we will do short panoramic sightseeing tour by bus and Transfer to the Airport. End of the tour and our services.
